Caught my first film at this year's Seattle International Film Festival last night. It was a french film titled The Story of My Life - well, at least that's what they call it, according to IMDB it is Mensonges et trahisons et plus si affinites....
The film was mostly hilarious, sometimes sad. The characters were all enjoyable, especially Muriel played by Marie-Josee Croze. The production quality was good. There really isn't anything bad to say about this film except I regret not paying attention more in French class so that I could take in the visuals in the film more rather than focusing on reading the subtitles. Also when the same subtitle appears for sentences audibly different you know there is colour in the dialogue you are missing out on.
