Yes it's true, I can cook. Steak, pasta, and sugar snap peas. Of course it will be at least a week before the dishes get done but that's another story. And no, I don't want to hear anyone's opinion on how a dinner that requires zero prep work isn't really cooking at all. You have to walk before you run right? (Yes, I have made something more complicated before).

Speaking of running. Last week instead of hitting the gym after diving I opted to run to the pool and then run home afterwards. Three and a half miles each way. I figured since my shorter runs hadn't been hurting my busted up ankle, I could up the ante a little bit.
Wrong. The next morning there was bruising all around the ankle bone and walking did not feel so good. Plus it was extra crunchy - anyone who has sprained an ankle more than a few times knows what that means.
Well come January 10 it will all be over. Or just beginning. I am finally getting surgery on my ankle. They wil be taking bone out of my knee and inserting it into the gumball sized hole that has formed in my talus bone.
